Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 3, 2026
This policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, why we collect it, and what we do with it. We keep it short and in plain English.
Who we are
DigLand Kids operates this website and the play space at 301 Mt Hope Ave, Suite 1031A Level 1, Rockaway, NJ 07866. If you have any questions about this policy, call us on (201) 972-5123 or use our contact form.
Information we collect
We only collect information you give us directly. Specifically:
- Booking a party β your name, email address, phone number, the birthday child's first name and age, the number of guests expected, and any notes you add (for example allergy information).
- Signing a waiver β the parent or guardian's name, your children's names, your email address, an optional phone number, your typed signature, and the date you signed.
- Buying a pass or membership β your name, email address, and an optional phone number.
- Contacting us β your name, email address, and your message.
We do not ask for information we don't need, and we never ask children to give us their own details β a parent or guardian always provides them.
How we use it
We use your information to:
- confirm and manage your booking, pass, or membership;
- keep a record of signed waivers, as we are required to;
- contact you about your visit β for example to confirm party details or let you know about a change;
- answer questions you send us;
- keep our own records of payments and attendance.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it for advertising. We will not add you to a marketing list without asking you first.
Payments
Card payments are handled by Square, a third-party payment processor. When you pay online you enter your card details on Square's own page β we never see or store your full card number. We keep a record of the amount, the date, what it was for, and whether it succeeded. Square processes your payment information under its own privacy policy.
If you choose to pay at the venue instead, we simply record that a payment is outstanding.
Cookies and tracking
This website does not use advertising or analytics cookies, and we do not track you across other websites. The only cookie we set is a secure sign-in cookie for our own staff when they log in to manage bookings β it is never set for regular visitors.
Children's privacy
Our website is intended for parents and guardians, not for children. We collect a child's first name and age only as part of a booking or waiver, and only when a parent or guardian provides it. We do not knowingly collect information directly from children. If you believe a child has given us information without a parent's involvement, contact us and we will delete it.
How long we keep it
We keep booking and payment records for as long as we need them for our business and tax records. Waivers are kept for the period they remain valid, plus a reasonable period afterwards in case of a claim. If you would like your information removed sooner, get in touch and we will do so where we are not required to keep it.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that help us run the business β for example our payment processor and the company that hosts this website. They may only use it to provide that service to us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, or delete it. Call (201) 972-5123 or use our contact form and we will help. There is no charge for this.
Security
Information is transmitted over an encrypted connection and stored on access-controlled systems. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us and we limit access to staff who need it.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and change the date at the top.
